VEX Robotics is seeking volunteers to help with several upcoming programs in Hawaii; we hope you will consider volunteering for one or more of the following programs.

October 7-9, 2016: Pan Pacific VEX Robotics Championship, hosted at Kamehameha School Kapalama (; sponsors: Hawaiian Electric Companies, Kamehameha School, Okinawa Enetech *a revival of one of the largest tournaments in the world at the Hawaii Convention Center, we are hosting teams from China, Taiwan, Canada and California along with Hawaii schools, a total of 120 teams in two divisions; this will be the first tournament in the world to qualify teams for the world championships in April 2017 in Louisville.  The plan is that this tournament may rotate to Pacific rim countries including Japan, etc.

Oct 7: 4-8 p.m.–setup/registration/robot inspection Oct 8: 7 am/volunteer check in-5 p.m. (end of day qualifying matches; a team social will be held from 5:30-7) Oct 9: 7 am/volunteer check in-3 p.m. (awards ceremony)

*no experience necessary: volunteer roles include–judging, refereeing, score keeping, queing, field re set and monitor, inspection, etc.

*if you are able to volunteer for this, please provide your T shirt size; lunch/drink will be provided.
