In March, the Hawaii Chapter welcomed Mr. Peter Colvin, Director of Program Development and Outreach for the Maui High Performance Computing Center (MHPCC).  He spoke about his role in managing the supercomputing network at the High Performance Computer Modernization Program (HPCMP) and the challenges he faces with finding new ways of connecting the resources to DoD users. He provided an overview of the MHPCC and its capabilities and discussed some of the challenges he faces with the DoD engineering and S&T communities.

The chapter recognized Calvin Nomiyama as the chapter’s Senior Government Leader of the Month.   Anthony K. Giandomenico, Referentia,  was honored as chapter Executive of the Month, and Haven Apana, PAC AOR was honored as our AFCEAn of the Month.  This month we were pleased to honor Nathaniel NG from Mid Pacific Institute as Chapter Student of the Month and Dan Cravehlo celebrating his 60th anniversary with AFCEA.
