Young AFCEAN Mentor Event

The Hawaii Young AFCEANs hosted a leadership panel on Wednesday evening, August 26th at the Mexico Cantina in Honolulu. The well-received Five Question Panel was composed of Mr. Jim Muller, the current AFCEA Hawaii President; CDR James Gateau, USN, the Chief Staff Officer of NCTAMS PAC; and Lt Col Kevin Childs, USAF, the 56 ACOMS Commander at 613 AOC.

On May 29, 2015 the Hawaii Chapter Young AFCEAN’s had the opportunity to tour the Defense Information Services Agency Pacific Field Command (DISAPAC) facilities. DISAPAC provides regional management, operational direction, and maintenance of assigned portions of the Global Information Grid (GIG) and Command, Control and Communications (C3) Information Systems operations in the Pacific and Indian Ocean regional areas.

AFCEA Hawaii conducts luncheons on the 2nd Tuesday of each month January - November at the Hale Ikena on Fort Shafter.

Luncheons are accessible to the public. You do not need a vehicle sticker or badge to get onto Fort Shafter. To get on base simply provide your drivers license, current vehicle registration and insurance card at the main gate to be issued a day pass.
