The 30th Annual TechNet Asia-Pacific (TNAP) Conference and Exposition, the largest of its kind in the region, was held November 17 through 19, 2015 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Themed this year as “FIGHT TO COMMUNICATE: Operating in a communications-degraded environment,” keynote speakers, panel moderators and panelists discussed communications policies and challenges in the Asia-Pacific region and their relevance to Industry, Academia, and Government. Over 170 industry exhibitors demonstrated products and solutions. Six local Hawaii high school robotics teams demonstrated their VEX and FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC) robots.
Special events included six AFCEA Leadership Forum sessions where senior military officers, civilian government officials, and industry leaders led interactive seminars on leadership to rising professionals in the information technology, command and control, global security, and intelligence fields; five Continuing Education courses; and an AFCEA Hawaii Educational Foundation & The Honolulu Navy League Golf Tournament fundraiser.
