The 29th Annual TechNet Asia-Pacific (TNAP) Conference and Exposition, the largest of its kind in the region, was held December 9 through 11, 2014, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Themed this year as “Assured Interoperability,” keynote speakers, panel moderators and panelists discussed defense policies and challenges in the Asia-Pacific region and their relevance to both Industry and Government. 150 industry exhibitors demonstrated products and solutions to meet the Services’ requirements and needs. Student exhibitors from around the state displayed their robotics and cyber projects.
Special events included an AFCEA Leadership Forum where senior military officers, civilian government officials, industry leaders lead interactive seminars on leadership to 15 rising professionals in the information technology, command and control, global security, and intelligence fields; five one-hour interoperability Continuing Education courses; and an AFCEA Hawaii Educational Foundation Golf Tournament fundraiser. Registration for the panels, courses and exhibits was free.
